It was a very successful MALARATHON 2026

On 26 April 2026, runners of all ages came together at Berlin’s Tempelhofer Feld for another successful edition of the Malarathon. Held in connection with World Malaria Day, the event once again combined sport, community, and social commitment to raise awareness of malaria and support our Malaria Free Cameroon project.
Families, children, recreational runners, and experienced athletes took part in the charity run, choosing between different distances including the Bambini Run, 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km courses. Throughout the day, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, encouragement, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
Every participant crossing the finish line received a unique Malarathon medal, celebrating not only their athletic achievement but also their contribution to an important cause. The event was supported by dedicated volunteers, enthusiastic spectators, and our partner Brauhaus Neulich, whose support helped make the day a memorable experience for everyone involved.
The funds raised during the Malarathon will directly support the Hope Foundation’s Malaria Free Cameroon initiative, including malaria prevention campaigns, community education, mosquito net distribution, and cooperation with local health centres.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all 185 participants, our volunteers, partners, and supporters. Together, we demonstrated that every step can make a difference. We are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for Malarathon 2027!
