The first phase of this year’s Bridging Cultures Project has successfully come to an end after an inspiring and dynamic three-month journey in Berlin.
Our trainers, Eden from Ethiopia and Ana from Brazil, represented their countries and continents with great passion and dedication. Through their work, they contributed significantly to promoting intercultural understanding and dialogue—at the heart of the project’s mission.
During their stay, they facilitated interactive workshops on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in seven high schools across Berlin, engaging students in discussions on global challenges and cultural perspectives. They also organised a vibrant cooking event, showcasing traditional dishes from their countries, which attracted a diverse audience and created a space for cultural exchange.
A key highlight of the program was the public panel discussion on extractivism, which brought together participants from different backgrounds and sparked meaningful conversations within the Berlin community.
