Support children’s education while gaining hands-on teaching experience in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
This project is an ongoing educational initiative designed to support children in gaining knowledge and skills in a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Based at the Rising International Bilingual School in Bertoua, the program works with children aged 3–15, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence through interactive learning approaches.
With the support of international volunteers, the project strengthens the classroom experience by providing additional support to local teachers while promoting cultural exchange. Volunteers gain valuable insight into diverse educational systems and contribute meaningfully to the development of young learners.
Bertoua, East Cameroon
Flexible (short-term and long-term options available)
Volunteers can choose between a host family or private furnished accommodation. Three meals per day are provided, including local African cuisine
€100 per week (covers accommodation, meals, and airport pickup)
International volunteers are required to apply for a visa to enter Cameroon and take the necessary vaccinations prior to arrival
We provide airport pickup for incoming volunteers and ensure a smooth transition from arrival to the project location
Basic English or French recommended
Beyond the classroom, volunteers have the opportunity to experience local culture, interact with communities, and explore daily life in Cameroon. This immersive experience fosters meaningful cultural exchange while contributing to education and community development.
