Use sport as a tool to inspire, educate, and empower young people in a dynamic community setting.
This project is a sports-based volunteer program that supports a local sports club for children and teenagers aged 5–20. Football is the main activity and is used as a powerful tool to promote not only physical development but also essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and organization.
Training sessions are designed to be both fun and educational, helping young participants build confidence, improve coordination, and develop their understanding of the game. Depending on their interests and experience, volunteers can also introduce other sports and physical activities.
The program aims to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment where young people can grow, learn, and enjoy sports together while building strong community connections.

Flexible (short-term and long-term options available)
Volunteers can choose between a host family or private furnished accommodation. Three meals per day are provided, including local African cuisine
€100 per week (covers accommodation, meals, and airport pickup)
International volunteers are required to apply for a visa to enter Cameroon and take the necessary vaccinations prior to arrival
We provide airport pickup for incoming volunteers and ensure a smooth transition from arrival to the project location
Basic English or French recommended
Volunteers work closely with young athletes and local coaches, gaining insight into the role of sport in community life. The experience goes beyond coaching, offering meaningful cultural exchange, teamwork, and the opportunity to be part of a vibrant and welcoming community.
