This program offers volunteers the opportunity to support the daily operations of Hope Foundation’s local office in Bertoua. It focuses on strengthening the organisational capacity behind ongoing projects in education, health, community development, and more.
Volunteers work closely with the local team, contributing to coordination, communication, and planning activities that ensure projects run effectively. This role provides valuable insight into how nonprofit organisations operate on the ground while supporting meaningful community initiatives.
It is ideal for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in administration, project coordination, and development work within an international NGO setting.
Bertoua, East Cameroon
Flexible (short-term and long-term options available)
Volunteers can choose between a host family or private furnished accommodation. Three meals per day are provided, including local African cuisine
€100 per week (covers accommodation, meals, and airport pickup)
International volunteers are required to apply for a visa to enter Cameroon and take the necessary vaccinations prior to arrival
We provide airport pickup for incoming volunteers and ensure a smooth transition from arrival to the project location
Basic English or French recommended
