Rising Education Project

Challenges

Access to quality education and professional training remains a major challenge in many parts of Cameroon, particularly in underserved regions. Limited infrastructure, insufficient learning facilities, and lack of training opportunities for youth and adults continue to hinder social and economic development.

There is a strong need for sustainable educational solutions that not only provide basic education for children but also equip young people and adults with practical skills for the future.

Our Response

The Rising Education Project was created to address these challenges by expanding access to quality education and training opportunities across Cameroon. Since 2014, Hope Foundation has led the development of a modern learning center in Bertoua, East Cameroon, in collaboration with international partners, including students from the Technical University of Berlin.

The project resulted in the construction of a sustainable bilingual nursery and primary school, as well as a professional training center. Today, the facility serves as a hub for both academic learning and skills development, supporting children, youth, and adults within the community.

what we do

Access to Quality Education

We provide bilingual nursery and primary education to nearly 300 children, creating a strong foundation for their academic and personal development.

Community Empowerment & Employment

By creating opportunities for teachers, trainers, and local staff, the project contributes to employment and strengthens the local economy.

Professional Training & Skills Development

The center offers practical and theoretical training programs for youth and adults in areas such as IT, business, agriculture, languages, tourism, and sustainability.

Infrastructure Development & Expansion

We continuously improve and expand educational facilities to reach more beneficiaries and enhance learning conditions in the region.

Through the Rising Education Project, children gain access to quality education while youth and adults develop practical skills for employment and self-reliance. The initiative has already transformed lives in Bertoua, East Cameroon and continues to create opportunities for growth and empowerment. We remain committed to expanding access to education and building partnerships that will strengthen its long-term impact.
