About Us

Hope Foundation

Established in 2001 in Cameroon, Hope Foundation was created with a vision to drive sustainable development and improve the lives of underserved communities. Over time, this vision expanded across borders, leading to the establishment of two interconnected yet independently operating branches in Bertoua, Cameroon, and Berlin, Germany.

Each Branch
While each branch responds to the specific needs of its local context, both share a common mission. In Cameroon, our work focuses on implementing hands-on programs and projects in areas such as education, health, water access, and women’s empowerment. In Germany, our efforts centre on raising global awareness, fostering intercultural exchange, and mobilising resources to support impactful initiatives in both countries.
For more than 15 years, this cross-continental collaboration has enabled Hope Foundation to create meaningful change at both local and international levels. Our work is made possible through the dedication of our teams, volunteers, donors, and partners who share a common commitment to sustainable development.
As a registered organization under Cameroonian law No.373/G.37/D.14/1/VOL.T/T/BAPP and German law (Charlottenburg District Court, Berlin VR 29417 B), Hope Foundation is committed to transparency, accountability, and long-term impact across all its activities.

Our Mission and Vision

Our Vision

We envision a world where empowered communities thrive through education, sustainable development, and equitable access to opportunities. A world where individuals are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to shape their own future and contribute positively to society.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create lasting and sustainable change by promoting education, advancing healthcare, and supporting community development, particularly in underserved areas. Through collaborative partnerships and innovative initiatives, we work to uplift vulnerable populations, inspire hope, and strengthen resilience.

OUR VALUES

We are committed to fostering active participation and civic engagement within communities. By raising awareness and encouraging involvement, we inspire individuals to contribute to sustainable development and promote social, economic, and environmental
justice.

We believe in the power of education as a tool for transformation. Through non-formal education and intercultural learning, we challenge stereotypes, promote understanding, and empower individuals with knowledge that drives positive change.

We support individuals and communities in building their capacity to improve their living
conditions. By providing skills, resources, and opportunities, we enable people to take
ownership of their development and create sustainable, self-reliant futures.

We strive to strengthen and expand opportunities that improve quality of life. Through our initiatives, we enhance community well-being, promote inclusion, and support long-term development that creates lasting and meaningful impact.
