About the Event

Spoons4Change is a cultural cooking event bringing together food, traditions and stories from South Sudan

and Argentina.

Participants will have the opportunity to prepare and explore traditional dishes from both cultures and discover the different ways food connects us to people, places and traditions.

Through cooking and sharing a meal together, Spoons4Change creates a space for cultural exchange, conversation and connection.

Welcome & Introduction - Welcome to Spoons4Change and a short introduction to the Bridging Cultures-project.
Discover the Recipes - Ann and Argustina introduces the dishes and ingredients from South Sudan and Argentina before getting hands on the cooking together.
Lets Cook Together - Participants work together to prepare selected dishes and traditions explored through the event.
Recipes to take home - Participants receive a recipe overview with cooking instructions to take home, with the recipes also shared by email after the event.

Event Highlight / Purpose

Spoons4Change invites participants to discover new flavours from South Sudan and Argentina while exploring different food traditions and cultural perspectives.

Through hands-on cooking, shared stories and informal conversation, participants connect with people from different backgrounds and experience culture as something to be shared and explored together.

The event creates a welcoming space for curiosity, openness and intercultural understanding, using food as a simple and engaging starting point for cultural exchange and meaningful connection.
