Give old clothes a new life through sewing, repair and creative upcycling.
Join us for a creative Nähcafé as part of our Fair Champions Project, where sustainability meets creativity and practical skills.
This free sewing workshop is open to everyone interested in learning basic sewing and repair techniques, exchanging ideas, and discovering creative ways to reuse clothing. Together with our project guides, participants will learn, create and share skills in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Bring along a T-shirt, jacket, dress or another piece of clothing that needs some attention. We will explore how simple repairs, creative ideas and colourful fabrics from Cameroon can transform old clothing into something new and personal.
The Nähcafé is about more than sewing. It creates a space to rethink how we use and value clothing while learning practical skills that can help reduce textile waste.
By repairing instead of throwing away and creatively transforming what we already own, we can make more conscious choices about fashion and consumption. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas, exchange skills and leave with something repaired, redesigned or completely reimagined.
