The
Rising Education project is still in full swing and we are getting
closer to our goal every single day! For the second time, students of
the Technische Universität Berlin and Gerald Bobga Fonkenmun, the
director of the Hope Foundation Berlin, visited the site in Bertoua.
They were able to get an update on all the latest progress and get
involved in the construction once again. The first building phase is
finished! This means that the two classrooms for the pre-school as
well as the school's administrative block are now completed. With the
construction of the sanitary facilities now also underway, the
pre-school is due to open in September 2015. Along the way, the
remaining rooms for the primary school will be built so that we can
open the primary school as soon as possible. At this point, we would
once again like to thank all of our sponsors for their contribution
and support which makes the construction of the schoo
l possible. We
still have a long way to go until the school's completion, which is
why we are very grateful for every further donation and the continued
support of everyone involved. Help us to give children, youngsters
and adults access to education - maybe even as a volunteer on site?
