Rosie Stuarts (Australia) promotes Education among children (February 2009)

Rosie Stuarts when applying to volunteer with Hope Foundation was interested in a number of live changing projects but at the end she finally decided to dedicate her time and knowledge in serving children through education.
Rosie who came from Australia, worked as a volunteer in a primary school in Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon where she supported the school staff with new ideas and taught a number of subjects to the children such as Mathematics, Nature Study, Geography and History. These kids were happy and welcoming and there was a wonderful ambiance of exchange and communication during her stay in the school.
Rosie taught in two different campuses of the Horizon Primary Schools, the first weeks in Akwa and the last week in the Bonadibong campus where children learnt how to improve their learning methods and how to cope to new learning situations.
