International Community in Douala volunteer on development projects October 2007 to June 2008

Eight – 8 months is the amount of time reserved by the staffs and students of the American School Douala to work in collaboration with Hope Foundation as volunteers in a number of youth developmental projects in the city of Douala
These children were involved in projects such as educating and entertaining children of the St. Jean Orphanage Douala. More similar projects of this nature are planned for the future such as hospital visits, tree planting projects, clean up campaigns and cultural activities.
We intend to work with more local schools in the future and we call on the active participation of local volunteers as well.

With the guidance of two American teachers (Arie and Natalie)working in Douala, these youths were able to experience a number life changing projects related to the Millenium Development Goals.
