The main aim of this project is to incite the Mbororos and the Baka Pygmies in East Cameroon out of their minority constraints by making them aware of, as well as taking full advantage of their rights, duties and inherent potentials.

May 2008 - May 2012 | Fighting against the spread of HIV-AIDS.
HIV-AIDS remains a problem of big concern in Cameroon and Africa in general and Hope Foundation is fighting hard in rural communities to curb the spread of these disease throught a number of education, training and sensitisation programs.

March 2006 - December 2012 | Malaria Eradication Project:
“Malaria-Free Cameroon Project” is an initiative recently launched by Hope Foundation to save the local population from malaria.
The aim of this project is threefold:
1) To protect pregnant women and children from malaria by increasing the proportion of pregnant women using mosquito nets,
2) Maintain a save and clean environment against mosquitoes for example disinfecting standing water pools pregnant with mosquito larvae and cleaning all bushes that serve as habitat for mosquitoes during the day.
3) Education and sensitisation to the local people on these important prevention methods and how pregnant women could always obtain prenatal care services: This shall be done through local gatherings, slogans on T-shirts and caps and radio sensitisation spots.[img][/img] » read more |
